The girls soccer team opened Commonwealth District play in dominating fashion Friday night, defeating the Brooke Point Black Hawks 5-0. Emily Davison and Maggie Tubridy each netted two goals, with Ali Starr also scoring for the Patriots. Solid defensive play from Katharine Waldron, Joy Piirto, Anne Brady, Abby Davison, adn Abby Schwab prevented the Black Hawks from recording a shot on goalkeepers Betsy Haugh and Emily Leytham. The Patriots (3-0, 1-0 CD) have a full slate next week with three District games
