Boys JV soccer won 5-0 against Monticello.
Boys Varsity (2-0) beat Monticello 2-0. AHS is now county champs for 2011. Matt Natale kept shut-out for the second game in a row. Our first goal was a cross into the center from Sherlon Mitchell and a finishing header from Mike Lombardo. At halftime the score was 1-0. Throughout the second half AHS played hard and kept the pressure up. Alex Bohn kept his cool after being pushed by a player on Monticello. The second goal started with a tackle and pass from Zak Dreago onto Asa Vegodsky, who pushed his way into the box and was able to create a PK. Shane Rose buried the PK making the score 2-0. Boys soccer takes on Brooke Point away next Friday, March 25th, for their third game in district play.
